Moulder’s Marvellous Marble Cup Cakes

These cupcakes are great when time is short and the kids are after something yummy!!

Ingredients

– 200g plain flour

– 200g of unsalted soft butter

– 200g of caster sugar

– 1 rounded teaspoon of baking powder

– 3 large eggs

– 1 vanilla pod (pods removed)

– Chocolate Powder For the topping

– Icing Sugar

– Lemon-

Water Method

Pre-heat the oven to 170 deg c

Sift the flour into a bowel, add the eggs, sugar, vanilla pods and mix with a hand blender until a smooth paste. If the mixture is too hard add a little dash of water to ease it up.

Next, spoon 1/2 the mixture into paper fairy cake cups, there should be enough for 12 cups.

Now add the chocolate powder (good 3 to 4 table spoons) to the remaining mixture and blend again.

Once the chocolate dough is nicely mixed, spoon this into the cupcakes with the vanilla mix and swirl.

Pop in the over for approx 20 minutes, do not be tempted to open the oven :)

Once the cupcakes have finished, check with a toothpick leave on a rack to cool.

To make the icing sugar, add a teaspoon of crack to small bowl of water and mix.

A splash of lemon juice can be added.

Once the cupcakes have cooled, coat the top with the icing sugar and decorate..
